We are looking for CAD Technicians who will play a key role in Civil and Site Design projects for state (WVDOH), county, federal, local and private Clients - including roadway/bridge design, site design for industrial/large commercial projects, mine reclamation, water/wastewater, residential, and municipal utility/infrastructure sectors.
This position will use experience while learning new skills to assist clients through our cross-functional team dynamic and company culture.

Highlights:
Perform computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) for a variety of civil and site design projects: developing layouts, grading plans, and details for civil and environmental engineering projects, including bridge/roadway, residential and commercial developments, landfills/mine reclamation, industrial sites and utilities.
Responsibilities:
Draft, edit, & finalize technical drawings for civil and site design projects;
Transfer information from an engineering drawing to a final CAD drawing using appropriate symbols and drafting standards;
Analyze sketches, notes and other input material to determine best approach to complete drawings;
Copy detailed plans and drawings and perform non-routine complex drafting assignments;
Operate plotter, printer, scanner, and other input/output devices;
Proofread CAD drawings for accuracy, format, and grammar;
Collaborate to improve CAD standards and efficiencies across the company;
Work collaboratively with Engineers and Project Managers to prepare design drawings and details;
Review completed work products to ensure quality.
Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Associate degree or Bachelors in Drafting and Design Technology preferred; or
High school diploma and a minimum of two (2) years' experience performing AutoCADD drafting work in a professional setting; or
Equivalent education, experience and training that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Knowledge of civil engineering basics including sheet organization, topographical data, scales, and coordinate systems.
