CAD TechnicianTransportationJobs with David Evans and Associates:The Construction Engineering Services Practice is seeking a CAD Drafter / Designer in Salem, OR. (Remote possible.)We're looking for a skilled CAD Technician who thrives in a collaborative environment and is excited to contribute to the design and construction of vital transportation projects: roads, highways, and bridges. You'll work alongside experienced engineers, using cutting‑edge tools and software to turn concepts into reality.What You'll DoKey Responsibilities :Produce detailed CAD drawings, layouts, and graphics for a variety of transportation projects including roadway design, curb ramps, etc.Translate engineering markups into polished construction documents, maintaining precision and consistency.Use state‑of‑the‑art software such as AutoCAD/Civil3D, MicroStation, Open Roads Designer, and Bluebeam.Support design tasks under the direction of licensed engineers using industry standards.Maintain structured drawing files, adhere to company drafting standards, and support project‑specific standards as needed.Collaborate through file‑sharing systems like ProjectWise and participate in quality assurance reviews.Track quantities, update contract drawings, and contribute to project success within scope, budget, and schedule.Review all work for completeness and accuracy.
