This role is responsible for developing CADD standards, optimizing design workflows, and supporting users at an advanced technical level to enable users to produce high-quality, consistent project deliverables. The applicant should be a motivated problem-solver who is eager to grow alongside our evolving technology stack.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport of the firm's CADD standards program, including:Templates, styles, labels, and annotation standardsLayering systems, plot styles, page setups, and deliverable formatsBlock libraries, tool palettes, and reusable componentsAdvanced technical support for Civil 3D and AutoCADConfiguration, customization, and support of Civil 3D design workflows, including:Surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, grading, and pipe networksData Shortcuts and external referencesSupport of CADD quality control processes and performance of drawing/model auditsSupport and administration of collaboration platforms such as Forma Design Collaboration (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC))Coordination with IT on:Software deployment and updatesHardware and system requirementsDevelopment and delivery of internal training, onboarding, and technical documentationTechnical advisor to users regarding CADD strategies, efficiencies, and risk mitigationEvaluation and recommendation of new tools, workflows, and process improvementsRequired QualificationsMust have 5+ years of relevant experienceMust have a high school diploma or State Equivalency CertificateExpert-level proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCADExtensive experience developing, implementing, and enforcing CADD standardsProven experience supporting civil engineering or infrastructure design teamsStrong understanding of:Drawing and plan production standardsMulti-user project environmentsDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex CADD and Civil 3D issuesExcellent communication and leadership skillsMust be a US CitizenPreferred QualificationsAssociates or bachelor's degreePrior experience as a CAD Manager, CADD Manager, or CADD CoordinatorExperience with Forma Design Collaboration (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC))Knowledge of civil disciplines such as survey, roadway, utilities, drainage, and site designAutodesk certifications (Civil 3D and/or AutoCAD)Experience in creating enterprise CAD manuals or standards guidesBenefits:WRA recognizes that employees play an important role in its success.
