Job Description:

Dewberry is currently seeking a responsible, highly motivated, and detail oriented individual to join our transportation design department in the Fairfax, Virginia office as a CADD Technician. This individual will work in a team environment with other drafters, designers, and professional engineers to prepare a variety of roadway, transportation and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

This position requires the candidate to have experience in preparing exhibits and drawings using Bentley’s MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer. The candidate will be expected to develop CAD drawings with minimal supervision. Experience with GIS, Civil3D, AutoCAD, Inroads, 3D modeling, or other drafting software is also preferred.

Required Skills & Required Experience:
  • One (1) year of engineering drafting experience is preferred
  • Attention to detail and quality in an efficient manner
  • Ability to multi-task on multiple projects
  • Microstation and OpenRoads experience
  • Microsoft Word and Excel experience

 

Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.
