Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is accepting applications for a Department of Counseling, Cadet Resilience and Performance Coach- Graduate Assistant. Serves as a Graduate Assistant within the Department of Counseling in support of the Corps of Cadets and Cadet Leadership Academy by promoting cadet resilience, well-being, leader development, and academic success. Assists with educational programming, developmental coaching, outreach initiatives, and wellness activities designed to enhance cadet performance and connect students with appropriate university resources.
Responsibilities
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard university technology platforms.
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Ability to establish rapport and work effectively with college-aged students. Knowledge of or interest in resilience, wellness, leadership development, counseling, or human performance.
Ability to facilitate educational programming and group discussions. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, Corps leadership, and student leaders.
Must maintain eligibility for Graduate Assistant employment under University of North Georgia policies.
Must maintain good academic standing throughout appointment.
