We are seeking a highly skilled professional to perform structural and fatigue simulations involving road loads. The ideal candidate should be capable of performing modal transient analysis and conducting detailed studies, including root cause analysis, to confirm the effectiveness of design solutions against key performance metrics.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor of Science/Engineering in Mechanical Engineering or related field
10 years of experience in CAE, with a preference for fatigue analysis
In-depth knowledge of material science, fatigue principles (stress-life, strain-life), and structural mechanics
Proficiency with software such as ANSA, Hypermesh, NASTRAN, OptiStruct, Abaqus, nCode, FeSafe Verity, Fdynam, Teamcenter, 3DX, and Hyperworks
Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Master's Degree in a related field
Expertise in Hypermesh
Proficiency in CAD/Meshing tools
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Perform structural and fatigue simulations involving road loads
Conduct correlation activities to confirm the confidence level of virtual analysis results against physical data
Effectively communicate results with Design & Release teams
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of both internal and external fatigue tools
Support technical problem-solving for significant quality/warranty issues and TVMs
Work on assigned special CAE projects and initiatives from Technical Specialist
