Are you looking to work for a company that provides an innovative work environment, and your voice is heard? We have an opening for an CAE Engineer – Range & Efficiency (EV/HEV) to work onsite with our client in the Novi/Northville MI area. This is a contract/resident engineering opportunity.

What you will be doing:
The CAE Engineer – Range & Efficiency (EV/HEV) Focuses on improving vehicle range and efficiency through simulation, analysis, and system optimization. Works across aerodynamics, powertrain, and thermal domains to maximize performance.

What you'll need to be successful (must haves):
  • Define and track vehicle range and efficiency targets
  • Conduct simulations for aerodynamics, rolling resistance, and energy consumption
  • Analyze system-level energy usage and identify optimization opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement efficiency improvements
  • Correlate simulation results with real-world data
  • Support development of energy models and performance metrics

Essentials:
  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field
  • Experience in CAE, simulation, or vehicle energy analysis
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, GT Suite and similar tools
  • Understanding of EV/HEV systems and energy management
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
