Oakley Country Club, a prestigious private club in Watertown, MA, is seeking a part-time Cafe Attendant for the remainder of the summer season. This food service position offers a dynamic and engaging work environment, providing the opportunity to interact with club members while ensuring an exceptional dining experience. With team members transitioning to college, we are looking for individuals who can start mid to late May and remain with us through Labor Day.
This pool and food service role offers a competitive pay rate of $16 per hour, and for the right candidates, long-term opportunities within our Clubhouse may be available.
YOUR SCHEDULE
Cafe Attendants will work part-time in varied shifts within the club's business hours, which range from 10 AM to 10 PM. This creates flexibility for candidates with different scheduling needs.
YOUR DAY
As a part-time Cafe Attendant, you will be responsible for greeting and checking in members at the pool, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Throughout your shift, you will take and serve food and beverage orders, offering menu items such as sandwiches, snacks, salads, and grilled pizza. You will handle payment transactions, maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, and uphold health and safety standards. Your primary focus will be delivering efficient and courteous service, contributing to an enjoyable and seamless experience for club members.
