    We are hiring a Cafe Server to join our team.  This role ensures the cleanliness and sanitation of the dining room and service stations in accordance with Health Department standards and by assisting with food running and restocking throughout the shift.     Location:  The Nash Casino - 310 Daniel Webster Highway - Nashua, NH
    Hours:  Full-time:  Variable Hours (1st shift/swing shift/late-night shift) with Weekends and Holiday's required

    Job Responsibilities

    • Maintain clean and organized tables and dining areas to ensure a positive guest experience.
    • Reset tables quickly and accurately with proper settings to support efficient seating.
    • Assist Servers by running food to tables and ensuring correct and timely delivery.
    • Refill water glasses and restock dining‑room items such as napkins, utensils, condiments, and glassware.
    • Keep the dining room, service stations, and all guest‑facing areas clean, organized, and fully stocked.
    • Pre‑bus tables throughout the guest experience to maintain a clean environment.
    • Maintain cleanliness of floors, countertops, and surrounding areas throughout the shift.
    • Follow proper food‑handling, sanitation, and safety procedures in accordance with Health Department standards.
    • Properly label, date, cover, and store items in side stations as directed.
    • Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup, breakdown, and cleaning tasks.
    • Rotate stocked items to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
    • Work well in a fast‑paced environment while staying calm and attentive.
    • Demonstrate honesty, reliability, and a positive team‑focused attitude.
    Education and Minimum Requirements
    • High school diploma or GED preferred.
    • Internal candidates must have at least six months in their current role and meet eligibility requirements per the Transfer and Promotion policy.
    • Must be able to obtain required work cards, alcohol awareness cards, and non‑gaming registration as required by local regulations.
    • Must be 21 years of age or older.
    • Must successfully pass all required background checks.

    Physical/Mental Working Demands 

    • Ability to move throughout the work area during the entire shift.
    • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
    • Ability to provide accurate information and assistance.
    • Ability to read and interpret information on computer screens.
    • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, twist, balance, and work in bar areas; including tolerating temperature changes and frequent use of water, cleaning, and sanitizing solutions.
    • Ability to work in an environment where smoking is permitted, and where noise levels may include guest chatter, music, and live entertainment.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and respond to visual and auditory cues.
    • Ability to distinguish letters and symbols and demonstrate hand‑eye coordination.
