Eataly's bustling marketplaces contain a variety of quick service counters featuring coffee and drinks, pastries and gelato, pizza and focaccia, paninis and grab-and-go meal options. The Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) Manager assists with supervising and running the day-to-day operations of the QSR counters.
Reports directly to the Operation Manager and supervises the QSR staff of service leads, baristas and sales associates.
Maintains a steady leadership presence on the floor, interacting with guests, team members and vendors to ensure Eataly's operations are running smoothly and high hospitality standards are met
Collaborates closely with the Opertion Manager on certain aspects of management including administrative and financial duties
Trains, motivates, mentors and organizes team members
Estimates food and beverage needs, and requisitions or purchases food, beverage, supplies and equipment; receives and checks orders to ensure that they adhere to specifications
Monitors inventory, checks orders and distributes supplies as needed throughout the department
Manages transactions and ensures accurate accounting
Records shift notes and assists with administrative duties such as scheduling when needed
Ensures department complies with all quality, health, safety and sanitation standards
Documents, investigates and resolves employee and guest incidents
Performs other duties as required or assigned
Salary for this role: $65k-$75k
High school graduate or equivalent; post-secondary degree preferred
2+ years of lead or supervisory experience in food service
Math skills and ability to handle money accurately
Strong knowledge of steps of service
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of coffee and coffee production
Knowledge of Italian cuisine and beverage preferred
Job Requirements
Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
Ability to operate equipment such as manual espresso machine, drink blender, and cash register
