Position Overview
We are seeking an all-around Cafe Team Member who is willing to learn and assist in all areas of the cafe, including:
- Espresso drink preparation
- Food prep & line cooking
- Customer service
- Order taking & POS operation
- Cleaning & stocking
- Opening/closing responsibilities
- Daily cafe operations
No extensive coffee experience? That's okay! Willingness to learn and be trained is a must. We are happy to train the right person with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-first mindset. Pay is based on experience. Average hourly earnings with tips: $18-25 an hour.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety throughout their shift and takes pride in creating a welcoming customer experience.
Applicants should be available for early mornings and at least one weekend day. Reliability and consistent attendance are extremely important for this role.
Most shifts are completed by approximately 2:30PM, making this a great fit for parents with school-aged children.
Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso beverages, coffees, smoothies, teas, and other specialty drinks
- Prepare and assemble food items while following recipes and food safety standards
- Work the cafe line during busy rushes while maintaining speed and quality
- Greet customers, take orders accurately, and provide exceptional customer service
- Operate the POS system and handle cash/card transactions responsibly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the cafe, kitchen, and dining areas
- Restock ingredients, supplies, cups, food items, and retail products as needed
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a positive work environment
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and operational procedures
Qualifications

- Comfortable working mornings and weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20lbs
- Previous cafe, barista, restaurant, kitchen, or customer service experience is preferred, but not required
