Cafeteria Aide (Lunchroom Supervisor)

POSITION TITLE: Cafeteria Aide (Lunchroom Supervisor)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma

REPORTS TO: Principal and/or Assistant Principal

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 10:00-1:00 Hourly Rate

JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Work closely with other support staff, teachers and administrators to develop and implement efficient procedures for the lunch period.
• Give direction to students while in the cafeteria.
• Provide support for students while learning lunch procedures (open milk cartons, carrying and dumping trays, etc.).
• Supervise students in order to maintain safety in the cafeteria.
• Maintain positive communication with students, teachers and cafeteria staff.
• Support school wide behavior goals.
• Assist with cafeteria set up and clean up as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
