Cafeteria Staff Substitutes

Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School is seeking cafeteria substitute workers this school year.

If called to substitute, the hours required could be: 6:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., or 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. No nights, weekends, holidays, school vacation or summer hours. This position follows the academic school calendar. Thorough training will be provided. Competitive hourly rate.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Assisting cafeteria staff with preparation, cooking, serving, and clean-up of hot and cold food items served to students and staff.

REQUIREMENTS: Substitutes must have the ability to follow written and verbal directions, work independently, and communicate effectively with the staff and student population. Substitutes must also have the ability to perform heavy lifting and operate a variety of kitchen equipment in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of sanitation and proper food handling procedures is preferred.

HOURLY RATE: $21.64
