Position: Cafeteria Worker

Location: Heartland Technical Education Center

1783 State Route 60, Ashland, Ohio 44805

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must be able to work with students, staff and the public.
• Must have minimal knowledge of sanitation, serving, kitchen equipment operation and/or cashiering procedures.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.

Duties:

• Work closely with the cafeteria supervisor and staff.
• Assist on the serving line.
• Food preparation and dishwashing.
• Clean tables and equipment after serving meals.
• Laundry.

Contract: 2026-2027 contract for 188 days including seven paid holidays, 5 hours per day. No fringe benefits.

Salary: Placement on the Board Adopted Cafeteria Worker Salary Schedule.
