Cafeteria Worker

Hours: 7:00 - 1:00 pm

Job Description

Cook and/or assist with meal prep Bake and/or prepare bread/rolls Responsible for temping all foods as prepared Refrigeration temps to be taken twice daily Prepare Sandwiches Clean and wash all fresh fruits and vegetables Prepare (cut) fresh fruit and vegetables for the serving line Portion canned or fresh fruits Inform the manager when food needs to be reordered Clean the work area prior to food preparation Serving and POS system operation Snack sales if permitted Clean steamables after lunches Pack and deliver breakfast foods for classrooms Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.

Dish Room Responsibilities: Wash and put away all cookware and dishes Clean/disinfect all work surfaces Clean/disinfect all cafeteria tables after lunches Inspect/clean all equipment daily Receive and put away deliveries Sweep daily Discard recycling (when required) Fulfill any additional requests by the Food Service Manager
