Job Summary

Responsible for preparing, portioning, and serving food and beverages for cafeteria operations and catered events. Ensures accurate food service, cashiering support when needed, and maintains a clean, orderly, and welcoming dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of food and beverage items according to established guidelines and store them properly.
• Accurately portion and serve food in an appealing and professional manner.
• Maintain adequate supplies of self‑service items, ensuring proper display and organization.
• Track and record items and quantities issued for and returned from catered events.
• Perform cashiering duties as needed in the absence of a Cafeteria Worker II.
• Ensure cafeteria and dining room areas, including equipment, remain clean, orderly, and sanitary at all times.

Work Schedule

• Varying hours between 6am and 9pm
• Required to work every other weekend
• Required to work every other holiday

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Equivalent experience may be considered, including:
• At least 1 year of experience in the food service industry
• At least 1 year of experience using cash registers
