Work involves preparing and making food options which may include but are not limited to: slicing and weighing of meat, vegetables, fruits and grain products for cooking, assembling, packaging, and packing of menu items. Activities and decisions are routine in nature. Employee follows written and/or oral procedures and practices. Must have the ability to operate commercial dishwasher, meat slicer, ovens, mixers and other small appliances. Ability to handle knives and other sharp items in a safe manner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include some or all of the following:Prepare, mix and assemble a variety of sandwichesSlice meat, cheese, vegetables or other products for sandwiches or other menu optionsPack prepared sandwiches for transport and delivery to units on campusClean and sanitize work area and equipmentClean all food contact surfaces with sanitizerSweep and mop floorsWash and sanitize slicing equipment after every useClean and organize coolers and freezersCook menu items, prepare steam table set-up and break-down, and clean steam tableRecord temperature setting on coolers and freezersOperate commercial dishwasherWash all dishes, utensils, knives and containersPerform cash register duties using POS systemPerform other duties as requiredMust satisfy all job related attendance requirementsA record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employmentAvailability: ImmediatelyHours: 5 hours per day (7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.) Monday through Friday Salary: $17.20 per hour (benefits not included)Application Procedure: Apply online at www.greatoaks.com.
