Location: Trillium Place CURRENT OPENING:
Part-time (2:30 PM to 6:30 PM)
Position includes weekend and holiday rotation
The Café Attendant is to ensure all café guests are served promptly and appropriately. This position will be performed in accordance with TANDEM LIVING Core Values, Mission Statement, and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Formal culinary training or prior experience in an institutional food service setting preferred.
Experience in food preparation, including the ability to follow standardized recipes.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Assists the café cook and assumes responsibility for café operations in the cook's absence, as needed.
Monitors dining areas, promptly clears and cleans vacant tables, and maintains cleanliness in assigned areas.
Operates the cash register, maintains and restocks the salad bar, slices meats, and performs other food preparation tasks as assigned.
Adheres to safe food handling practices at all times.
Communicates any issues that could impact customer satisfaction to the appropriate manager.
