Café Shift Leader - Dietary

Position Overview: This is full-time position working various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Full benefits are offered. Under the general direction of the Cafe Supervisor/Manager, you will perform a variety of duties related to the cash handling and customer service to staff and visitors. We are seeking a leader who will be able to supervise daily operations, support our cashier team, and assist with the café grill as needed. 

Pre-employment Requirements:

• We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required. 

Education Requirements:

• Validation of high school diploma or equivalent preferred, but will consider previous related work experience.

Job Requirements:

• Mobile County Health Department Food Handlers card or Serve Safe Certification
• Previous cashier experience is required
• Previous grill cook experience is preferred

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Follow cash handling procedures 
• Assist Retail Supervisor in daily operations 
• Lead and motivate staff to complete daily tasks
• Prepare daily cafe receipts for processing as well as reports
• Handle escalated customer service concerns 
• Cross-train for other positions
