The Cage & Credit Shift Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, security, and efficiency of all cage, vault, credit, and guest‑service functions during each shift. Your leadership helps maintain strict regulatory compliance, protect financial assets, and deliver a seamless and professional gaming experience for every guest. By guiding team members, overseeing credit activities, and upholding precise operational standards, you help promote a safe, trustworthy, and service‑driven environment that reflects the excellence of the Live! Casino & Hotel brand. Your ability to manage complex processes and support both guest and departmental needs is essential to the continued success of our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

Where You'll Make an Impact:

  • Responsible for supervising the Guest services personnel on assigned shift to ensure accurate control over casino funds.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are followed.
  • Manages processes and procedures to control and reduce loss time injuries.
  • Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted employment.
  • Delegate authority and assign responsibilities.
  • Development of staff to include training interviewing for hires, performance management to include disciplinary counseling up to and including termination and conducting performance evaluation.
  • Maintain records and reports relating to Variances, deposits & credit Activity and process and/or approve customer applications for casino credit.
  • Oversees credit processing, in accordance with IC §609a.3.
  • Approves and extends credit limits as set forth in the internal controls, in accordance with IC §609a.3 and §609a.4.
  • Obtain second approval from the General Manager, Director of Finance or Cage and Credit Manager for all casino credit applications in accordance with IC §609a.4.
  • Manages department financial data.
  • Review cage shift activities with Cage & Credit Manager.
  • Meet with departmental Directors and Managers as necessary.
  • Ability to extend complementaries in accordance with the property comp matrix.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results.
  • Ability to read complex documents and understand state and local tax laws, banking codes, gaming laws and regulations.
  • Ability to solve complex problems.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Flexible work schedule. 
Qualifications:

Must-Haves:

  • Four (4) year degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field OR
  • Equivalent work experience in casino cage operations in a casino environment that includes Slot /slot machines and Table Games
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency. 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must present self in a well-groomed, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Must be able to:
    • Stoop, bend, and squat
    • Work in a location with loud noise, visual distractions, and temperature changes.
  • Bending/Lifting (up to 75 lbs.)
  • Pulling/Pushing (up to 75 lbs. with help)
  • Use of stairs and elevators
  • 50% Walking
  • 100% Standing

Working Conditions:

  • Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
