Accounts Payable Specialist (On-Site) Pay Range:$20.23 $25.79 per hour Location:Carthage, NY Role Overview North Star Health Alliance/Carthage Area Hospitalis seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage the full lifecycle of our Healthcare Accounts Payable (AP) process. The ideal candidate will combine technical proficiency in bookkeeping software with the high-level communication skills needed to manage vendor relationships and internal coordination. Key Responsibilities Full-Cycle AP Processing:Own all aspects of AP, including processing and distributing invoices, issuing payments, and maintaining digital and physical financial records. Vendor Relations:Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors regarding payment inquiries, invoice requests, and account reconciliations. Data Integrity:Maintain a high volume of records with 100% accuracy, ensuring all entries align with internal compliance and auditing standards. Administrative Support:Assist with professional correspondence, scheduling, and specialized data entry using office management systems. Qualifications Education:High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree in Business or Accounting preferred. Experience:2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Bookkeeping, or high-volume Administrative Support (experience with CPSI is a plus). Technical Skills:Proficiency inMicrosoft Office(specifically Excel) and accounting software such asQuickBooksorAMS360. Communication:Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for professional interaction with both internal teams and external partners.
