Description
The cake decorator is an important position within the store. Many customers make their decisions to shop at our store because of the quality of the perishable departments and specifically the quality of the bakery products that we make available to them. This position is responsible for creating an appealing presentation of the tremendous variety and selection of cakes, breads, rolls, donuts, and other products that we offer. Productive and turns cakes quickly and neatlyFills the case full Provides extraordinary customer service Floor is safe, clean, and free of icing Fills department supplies Answers the phone within the department with service Maintains freshness guarantee on the products Meets company labor scheduling standards Does other assignments as directed by Hot Bakery Manager
Position Requirements
Able to read, write and speak English with reasonable proficiency Possesses basic math skills Able to communicate effectively with customer, associates, and others Friendly and pleasant Available in terms of scheduling hours; Be on time Reliable, good work ethic, high integrity, and drug free Clean, presentable appearance Good customer service skills; Out-going and helpful Ability to lift boxes at a minimum weight of 50 pounds Ability to stand for four consecutive hours, without restrictions Ability to work effectively in a cool and hot temperature environment Possess some baking experience in a retail or commercial establishment.
