KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Decorate and assemble cakes, and desserts to recipe and visual brand standards
  • Follow established production methods and maintain organized workflow
  • Ensure cake displays are organized and visually appealing to enhance the guest experience in a timely and continuous manner
  • Prepare creams, fillings, icings, and toppings from scratch or components
  • Manage daily production plans and workflows to meet café demand
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe decorating station
  • Support special orders and guest customization needs when applicable
  • Receive, stock, and organize ingredients and supplies efficiently
  • Monitor equipment and ingredient inventory, notifying supervisors of any issues or shortages
  • Manage time effectively to complete all assigned tasks
  • Help train new Cake Team Members in decoration techniques and café procedures
  • Monitor product quality and consistency—because details matter
  • Complete waste logs, production sheets, or prep reports as required
  • Adapt to other bakery tasks as needed (we're all one team!)
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

  • At least 1+ years of cake decorating or culinary experience (preferred)
  • Familiarity with piping bags, whipped cream, fruit décor, and finishing techniques
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and labeling practices
  • ServSafe Food Handler's Certification (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and pride in presentation
  • Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Team-first attitude, willingness to learn, and passion for hospitality
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
