Summary Position
The Summary Position is responsible for responding to customers, assisting other staff, cleaning and sanitizing the department, operating the industrial mixer, and properly filling and rotating products. They also operate the air brush sprayer.
Essential Functions
• Bakery Clerk activities Assists customers Stocks and rotates product Inspect bakery products for freshness Faces merchandise in the department Operates air brush sprayer Decorates cakes using various cake decorating tools Other activities Takes orders Builds displays Cleans and sanitizes department back room and cooler freezer Receives, delivers, and arranges stock in cooler freezer Prepares and packages product
Minimum Requirements
Must have commercial cake decorating experience. A positive customer service attitude and pleasant personality are essential. Effective memory skills, good hand-eye coordination, dependability, ability to follow directions, and a strong willingness to learn are also required.
Work Environment
Normal exposure to weather and temperature extremes. Exposure to cooler and freezer does not exceed 1 hour at a time.
