Perform comprehensive interior inspections for fit, finish, trim, electrical components, and accessory functionality.
Conduct exterior inspections for body damage, paint defects, alignment issues, and overall condition.
Verify proper installation and operation of lights, accessories, and visible mechanical components.
Inspect exterior paintwork for defects, damage, or irregularities in accordance with manufacturer standards.
Accurately complete CAL check sheets, inspection reports, and required documentation in an efficient and thorough manner.
Document and clearly communicate findings, including severity of damage or defects.
Coordinate directly with manufacturer representatives as required to review findings and ensure compliance with standards.
Work collaboratively with operations and detailing teams to report and track issues identified during inspection.
Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., with possible overtime and/or weekend work as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid US Driver’s License
Obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge) issued by the Department of Homeland Security
Experience operating automatic and straight (manual) shift vehicles.
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document findings.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior vehicle inspection, quality control, or automotive industry experience.
General knowledge of automobile components and basic vehicle systems.
Ability to make sound judgment calls regarding severity and classification of defects.
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear and concise documentation and feedback.
Physical Working Attributes:
Work in confined spaces
Work at heights of approximately 15 feet.
Lift, push, and or pull up to 20lbs
Extended periods of standing, kneeling and bending
Exposed to all outdoor elements including heat, cold, rain, insects, and other conditions, which may exist from time to time.
