Job Summary
Our client, a Fortune 500 medical technology and diagnostics company, is seeking a Quality Assurance Calibration Coordinator 2 to support calibration and preventive maintenance operations across its manufacturing divisions. This individual will ensure the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of equipment used in production, playing a critical role in maintaining a compliant and efficient equipment control system.
Contract Duration: Long-term contract (duration to be discussed at interview)
Schedule: Full-time, standard business hours
Location: Onsite (location details provided upon application)
Travel: Minimal travel may be required for supplier or field coordination
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate calibration and preventive maintenance activities for electrical and mechanical equipment
- Issue early warning notices for equipment approaching calibration due dates
- Maintain accurate equipment records within calibration control systems and databases
- Manage equipment lifecycle processes, including labeling, decommissioning, and calibration interval extensions
- Coordinate calibration schedules and activities with external suppliers and field service technicians
- Initiate and support investigations for out-of-tolerance (OOT) equipment findings
- Review calibration certificates for completeness and regulatory compliance
- Provide training and ongoing support to system users
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in calibration of electrical and mechanical equipment
- Experience with equipment control systems and databases
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance coordination processes
- Experience conducting or supporting OOT investigations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication and training abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing, medical device, or quality assurance environment
- Familiarity with field service equipment coordination
- Prior experience supporting calibration certificate review processes

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
- The primary role of this position will be to assist with the preparation of equipment transfers.
- Complete and or review Calibration-related documentation. Equipment folders, checklist, forms, and calibration data records etc..
- Update database as necessary while transferring equipment amongst locations and systems.
- Package and receive equipment; including identification and or re-identification as necessary
