Description
Position Summary
The Night Shift Calibration Technician is responsible for performing calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation of measuring and test equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role supports manufacturing and production operations by ensuring that all instruments and equipment remain accurate, reliable, and within specified tolerances.
Key Responsibilities
Perform calibration of instruments, gauges, meters, and testing equipment according to established procedures.
Verify equipment accuracy and identify out-of-tolerance conditions.
Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust equipment as needed.
Maintain calibration records and documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
Conduct preventive maintenance on calibration equipment and tools.
Support production teams by responding to calibration-related issues during the night shift.
Review calibration schedules and ensure all equipment is calibrated on time.
Follow safety procedures and quality standards at all times.
Assist with audits and inspections by providing required calibration documentation.
Communicate equipment concerns and shift updates to day-shift personnel and supervisors.
Required
High school diploma or GED.
1+ years of experience in calibration, maintenance, manufacturing, or a related technical field.
Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
Ability to work independently during overnight hours. Preferred
Technical certification in electronics, instrumentation, metrology, or a related field.
Experience with calibration software and quality systems.
Knowledge of ISO standards, GMP, or other regulated industry requirements.
Experience using precision measuring equipment.
