Calibration Technician

Calibration Technician at Palen Kimball Calibration

Shift: Monday – Friday 8am-4:30pm - 40 hours per week - Full time 

Hourly Wage: $30-$50 per hour 

Location: Twin Cities, Minneapolis (some travel maybe required)

Requirements:

• You must be 18 years old.
• You must be able to pass a drug test.
• You must be able to pass a motor vehicle history check.
• For safety reasons, you must be able to speak English.
• A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.
• Able to lift up to 30lbs.
• 5+ years of experience in calibration
• PMEL/Military experience desirable
• Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and Mechanical Calibration of equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Hipot Testers, Temperature and Humidity Controllers, Pressure Gauges and Dimensional Equipment
• Experience with Indysoft Preferred

 Job Duties:

As you might expect, technical work and customer service is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you can expect to: 

• Review of customer requirements
  
• Service and repair
• Prepare and visually inspect calibration and inspection items
• Perform calibration and inspection
• Maintain vehicles
• Recording of data
• Assist in training of new employees
• Fill out work orders
• Complete calibration certificates
