Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume call center (healthcare / PBM / prior authorization preferred)
Familiarity with medical terminology and coding
Strong computer skills (word processing/spreadsheets; ability to navigate systems efficiently)
Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal)
Take inbound calls from providers, pharmacies, and members and provide professional, courteous support through the criteria-based prior authorization process
Maintain complete, timely, accurate documentation of reviews and outcomes
Escalate clinical questions/judgment calls to the pharmacist team
Support additional duties as needed, including:Outbound calls
Reviewing/processing prior authorizations received via fax and ePA
Monitoring/responding to inquiries through shared department mailboxes
