What You'll Do

• Serve as the primary liaison between hospital staff, nurses, pharmacies, patients, and providers to ensure timely and effective communication.
• Triage and manage high-volume inbound calls for multiple acute care facilities, routing urgent and routine requests appropriately.
• Maintain and update daily provider schedules, ensuring accurate coverage and prompt communication of schedule changes.
• Communicate provider contact updates, scheduling modifications, and process changes to staff and leadership.
• Accurately document and enter inbound and outbound call activity within designated systems and databases.
• Support 24/7 healthcare operations by prioritizing requests, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Healthcare, medical call center, or related office experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare operations.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent critical thinking, judgment, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Ability to remain calm and professional when handling urgent situations and resolving conflicts.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Proficient in documenting interactions and navigating multiple databases and software applications.
