Schedule: On-site Monday-Friday; hybrid flexibility may be available after permanent hire

Pay: $22.00/hour
We're seeking a confident, customer focused Call Center/Customer Service Representative to support a high-volume insurance team in Carlsbad. This role requires strong phone etiquette, the ability to manage a heavy call load, and a positive attitude when handling challenging or escalated customer situations. Candidates will start fully onsite, with the potential for hybrid flexibility once hired on permanently.
Responsibilities:
Manage high-volume inbound calls with professionalism and a customer-first approach
Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email
Review and process audit-related paperwork with speed and accuracy
Multitask effectively in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
Resolve customer concerns clearly, confidently, and with empathy
Document all customer interactions and follow-up actions in the system
Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless service and issue resolution
Qualifications:
Previous call center experience required; insurance experience a plus
Strong verbal communication skills and ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
Comfort working in a high-volume call center environment
Proficient with basic computer applications and CRM systems
Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn and grow
Ability to stay patient and calm with frustrated or escalated customers
