Job Description:
This position will be responsible for scheduling physician appointments, handling patient inquiries, verifying insurance, and supporting overall call center functions. As the first point of contact for patients, the ideal candidate will deliver excellent customer service while maintaining accuracy and professionalism in a high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound and make outbound calls to schedule patient appointments.
- Collect, input, and verify patient demographics and insurance information using EMR systems.
- Provide estimates for self-pay patients and document appropriately.
- Route calls and messages to appropriate departments and personnel.
- Maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory procedures.
- Support the day-to-day operations of a busy call center environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a call center or healthcare scheduling environment.
- Familiarity with EMR systems (Meditech preferred).
- Comfortable working with Excel and reporting tools; Cisco contact center software is a plus.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and customer service skills.
- Dependable, team-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

- Onsite position with minimal possibility of remote work (not actively promoted)
- Immediate need with a target start date of July 28
