Why this role?

Because you love turning complex aerospace geometry into safe, efficient, repeatable CNC processes—then seeing those parts run flawlessly on the floor.

What you’ll do (snapshot)

  • Translate BN or customer CAD into production‑ready CAM for multi‑axis mills and lathes using advanced software (Siemens NX preferred).
  • Prove‑out with simulation and process verification (NX or Vericut preferred) and deliver airtight setup/run instructions.
  • Own cutting strategies—paths, speeds/feeds, and tool selection—for exotic alloys (Inconel, titanium) while holding demanding GD&T callouts.
  • Read drawings/blueprints/specs; compute dimensions; define parameters; partner with tooling vendors to source or develop custom solutions.
  • Be production‑ready: ensure programs, fixtures, documentation, and tooling are released ahead of first‑op; participate in readiness reviews.
  • Coach machinists through first articles and beyond; monitor quality/throughput; debug issues; implement continuous improvements.
  • Team with engineers and PMs to disposition nonconforming product—immediate rework plus durable corrective actions, reflected in programs and work instructions.
  • Design for safety and enforce safe practices and PPE; lead safety upgrades in assigned cells.
  • Apply and improve our QMS—follow procedures, document changes, and help train the team.
