Cub Creek Science Camp is a residential summer camp for children ages 7–17, located in Rolla, Missouri. Each summer, we serve approximately 240 campers per session with a seasonal staff of about 100 team members. With over 300 animals in our hands -on zoo and over 100 activities, we are not your average summer camp. May 17–May 30: Health Lodge preparation & staff orientation

May 31–August 9: Ten (10) one -week camper sessions

Requirements<\/h3>
The Camp Health Coordinator is responsible for responding to field injuries and illness, distributing routine medications throughout camp, and providing first -response emergency care. This role serves as the primary mobile medical responder.

This is a fast -paced, team -based environment ideal for healthcare professionals who enjoy:

  • Working with children and teens
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Being part of a collaborative camp community
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Practicing medicine in a non -traditional, outdoor setting
    <\/span><\/li><\/ul>
    Key Responsibilities:<\/b>
    <\/div>
    • Distribute all scheduled daily and evening medications to campers
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Deliver nighttime medications to all villages
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Respond to medical situations in program areas, trails, and cabins
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Provide initial assessment, stabilization, and transport to the Health Lodge as needed
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Communicate all medical encounters to the Nurse
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Carry first -response equipment and maintain medical readiness in the field
      <\/span><\/li><\/ul>
      Qualifications:<\/b>
      <\/div>
      • Current First Aid and CPR certification<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Strong emergency response and assessment skills
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Ability to remain calm and decisive in high -pressure situations
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Comfortable working outdoors in all camp environments
        <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

        Benefits<\/h3>

        Starting at $6000 for a 12 week summer. Housing, meals, and laundry included. Weekend work is required, this position requires availability to work on -site 7 days a week for the contract period.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
