The Camp Lead Counselor supports the Assistant Camp Director by supervising and mentoring camp counselors while helping to create a safe, fun, and memorable experience for all campers. This role combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on involvement in daily camp activities, ensuring both staff and campers are thriving.
Qualifications: • Prior experience as a camp counselor or in a youth leadership role required. • Strong leadership, mentorship, and teamwork skills. • Ability to problem-solve and support staff with confidence and fairness. • Energetic, adaptable, and committed to creating a positive camper experience. • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). • Must meet age and background check requirements per camp policy.
Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 15 years old at the time of hire. This is a seasonal position.
