PrideStaff is seeking an adaptable, detail-oriented Trailer Restoration & Repair Technician for a top-tier client in the Sacramento area. While extensive, hyper-specific trailer restoration experience isn't strictly required, you must be highly mechanically inclined, comfortable with a wide variety of hand/power tools, and eager to learn the precision art of trailer refurbishment, customization, and repair.

This position includes, but is not limited to inspection, repairs, and renovation of travel trailers, focusing on plumbing, electrical, chassis, and interior components to restore functionality and safety. The repair technician will diagnose issues, perform welding, fabrication, installation, replacement of worn parts (brakes, tires), and upgrade interior features like cabinets and flooring.
Key Responsibilities - Inspection & Diagnosis: Assess trailer condition to determine repair needs.
- System Repairs: Fix plumbing, gas, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Structural & Interior Refurbishing: Repair or replace structural components, cabinetry, flooring, and appliances.
- Chassis & Safety: Perform welding, repair brakes, tires, and suspension to meet safety standards.
- Upgrades: Install new components, accessories, and customized features.
- Testing: Test all systems to ensure proper functionality
Required Skills, Qualifications or Aptitude- Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and basic welding.
- Tools: Knowledge of hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varied weather conditions.
- Experience: Previous experience in RV repair, automotive or boat restoration, manufacturing, or maintenance.
