Greetings and well met! We invite you to join our team at the Fields of New Market Campgrounds for the 52nd season of the Texas Renaissance Festival!

Campground Watchmen play a vital support role in ensuring guests have a safe, comfortable, and well-prepared camping experience. This hands-on position involves assisting with accommodations, maintaining key campground services, and supporting daily operations across the property. We are seeking overnight opportunities too!


Key Responsibilities

• Assist guests upon arrival and provide general support as needed
• Prepare accommodations, including placing cots and setting up firepits
• Build and manage bonfires upon guest request, ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Staff the Exit Booth as needed and assist with traffic flow
• Support guests with proper use of the Dump Station, especially during high-traffic periods
• Perform a variety of campground tasks and support operations as needed

Work Environment & Safety

• This is a physically active, hands-on role; personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided
• Must be comfortable working with human waste and other non-hazardous waste materials
• Ability to lift 20–40 lbs consistently
• Ability to work outdoors in heat and all-weather conditions.
