Functional Overview
Clinical Data Scientist Internship Overview:
Each intern will be assigned to a project giving them the opportunity to contribute to ongoing analytics initiatives or help lay the foundation for new initiatives within the Data and Analytics organization. The intern will gain exposure to how analytics impacts clinical research, developing enterprise level solutions, and solving large, complex problems facing Lilly. Interns will interact and work alongside other Clinical Data Sciences professionals, including Lilly senior management. At the conclusion of the work period, each intern will present their project highlights, findings and general accomplishments to Clinical Data Sciences professionals. The role requires an in-depth understanding of programming, logic, data flow, and database architecture.

Lilly internships last for 12 continuous weeks, beginning in the last week of May. Each intern will be assigned a project affording the opportunity to learn more about data science and analytics within clinical research, as well as gain real world experience developing solutions for the Data and Analytics organization. $43,000 - $123,200Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
