The Food Access & Outreach Coordinator will spend their days overseeing the day-to-day operations of the University of Montana Food Pantry by organizing inventory, coordinating food orders and deliveries, and engaging with community partners. They will engage directly with students who visit the pantry, welcoming new customers, completing their intake, and connecting them with additional campus resources as needed. The member will also maintain the satellite pantry locations at Missoula College and West Campus, making sure both sites are high functioning. Outside of the pantry, they will represent the Food Pantry at campus events, lead student groups and volunteers, and help lead food drives and community collection efforts. Throughout their service, the member will also update and improve how the pantry collects and records information about the students it serves.
