We are on the lookout for an experienced and dynamic leader to helm our Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) educational initiatives. This role involves orchestrating the comprehensive operations of the nursing program, from strategic planning to evaluation at our Boise location.
**Primary Responsibilities**
- Oversee and manage the entire program, ensuring budgetary compliance, high-quality faculty and staff leadership, and innovative curriculum development and application.
- Establish and nurture collaborative relationships with clinical partners and ensure seamless integration with educational requirements.
- Maintain adherence to Board standards and ensure program accomplishments are documented to meet state and Board specifications.
- Facilitate program growth through the development of robust policies, procedures, and strategic student admissions.
- Engage in constructive community and professional relationships, fostering the program's reputation and reach.
**Academic and Clinical Leadership**
- Craft reports and proposals while ensuring efficient operation of student and faculty records.
- Play a pivotal role in admissions, orientation, and curriculum advancement.
- Forge linkage agreements with other higher education institutions to broaden student pathways.
- Monitor and report on student success metrics, including licensing pass rates and job placements.
**Stakeholder Engagement**
- Cultivate and evaluate clinical site engagements, ensuring they meet academic objectives and safety standards.
- Administer comprehensive evaluations and reporting for all clinical interactions.
- Facilitate the recruitment and development of faculty while upholding a supportive environment for both staff and students.
- Lead initiatives aimed at conflict resolution, academic advising, and student readiness for clinical experiences.
**Professional Presence**
- Represent the program within broad community contexts, building critical external relationships and advocating for prominent placement in the field.
**Qualifications**
- Must possess an MSN and a completed DNP.
- Minimum of two years in a similar role managing BSN education environments.
- Current RN licensure or ability to obtain licensure is required.
- Proven teaching experience paired with active engagement in patient care contexts.
- Strong leadership aptitude with effective communication abilities.
