CAMPUS SAFETY SECURITY OFFICER

Location: Santa Monica, CA

Pay Rate: $21.84 per hour

Schedule: Flex | Part-Time or Full-Time Hours Available

Shifts: Day, Swing & Grave | All Days & Shifts

CALIFORNIA GUARD CARD REQUIRED

We are seeking a dependable and professional Campus Safety Security Officer to provide a visible security presence in a campus environment. This is a flex position with opportunities for either part-time or full-time hours based on availability and operational needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide a professional and visible security presence throughout the campus
• Monitor campus areas and help maintain a safe and secure environment
• Conduct patrols and observe for safety or security concerns
• Respond appropriately to incidents and follow established procedures
• Assist with access control and campus safety protocols as assigned
• Provide professional customer service to students, staff, faculty, visitors, and others on campus
• Complete required reports and documentation

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid California Guard Card required
• SB 1626 Campus Safety/Security Certificate strongly preferred
• Previous security, campus safety, or related experience preferred
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills
• Reliable and dependable attendance
• Ability to work independently and respond appropriately to changing situations
• Ability to work all days and shifts, including weekends

SCHEDULE FLEXIBILITY

This is a flexible campus security position with day, swing, and grave shift opportunities. Candidates must have broad availability and be willing to work weekends. Hours may vary based on operational needs, with part-time and full-time hours available.
