Full-Time Campus Security Officer - F-01

Must be available to work weekends and one of the three available shifts

Pay Rate: $18.87/hr.

We are currently seeking professional and dependable Full-Time Campus Security Officers to join our team at a high-profile campus location in Manhattan, NY. This position is ideal for security professionals who understand the importance of campus safety and are committed to maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Available Shifts:

• 6:45 AM - 2:45 PM
• 2:45 PM - 10:45 PM
• 10:45 PM - 6:45 AM

Position Responsibilities:

• Maintain a visible and professional security presence throughout the campus
• Monitor student, faculty, staff, and visitor activity
• Conduct routine patrols of buildings and surrounding areas
• Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and safety concerns
• Enforce campus policies and security procedures
• Assist with maintaining a safe and secure campus environment
• Provide professional and courteous customer service
• Complete incident reports and other required documentation accurately and thoroughly
• Work closely with campus personnel and the security team to address safety concerns

Requirements:

• Active NYS Security Guard License required
• Valid F-01 Fireguard certification required
• Prior security experience required; campus, educational, or institutional experience preferred
• Must be able to commute reliably to Manhattan, NY
• Strong communication, de-escalation, and conflict-resolution skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor required
• Must understand the importance of maintaining a safe environment on a high-profile campus
• Must be available to work weekends and assigned shifts
• Must be willing to work days, evenings, or overnights based on operational needs

Important License Requirement:

An active NYS Security Guard License is required to work with Securitas. Candidates with an expired security guard license cannot be considered for this position.
