Job Skills / Requirements

We are looking for a Campus Security Officer in Mount Vernon, Iowa!

Starting Pay: $17.00 an hour. Can go up with good performance!

Hours: Thursday-Monday (11:00 PM-7:00 AM)

• Overtime may be required for events or shift coverage*

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license/Reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass Iowa Department of Public Safety/FBI Background check from age of 18 to current.
• Must be able to pass company motor vehicle records check.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment 4-panel drug screen.
• Must be able to remain calm in non-emergency and emergency situations.
• Must be able to walk/stand for long periods of time.
• Must be detail oriented and aware of your surroundings at all times.
• Must be able to interact with college staff, visitors, and Students in courteous and professional manner at all times.

Our Cedar Rapids branch covers; Waterloo, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, & the surrounding areas. --- All interviews and onboardings must take place at our Cedar Rapids Branch.
