Summary/Objective
The Cancer Conference Facilitator is responsible for facilitating Tumor Conferences from the beginning to the end of the bi-monthly meeting. Ensures National Accreditation Program for Breast Cancer and Commission on Cancer standards are being met.
Essential Job Duties

• Identifies and selects breast and solid tumor cases to be presented in a timely manner for each Tumor Board. • Prepare case summaries for each case being presented. • Notifies Tumor Board members of meeting date and time and provides them with case presentation information. • Complete and send out to all required providers case recommendations. • Participates with community outreach programs and Health Fairs. • Mentors newly certified oncology data specialist and cancer registry assistant.
Required Education and Experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program • 1-3 years of related experience
Required License/Certifications
• Current RN Licensure in the state of Texas • Oncology Data Specialist Certification • CPR
