Candidate Experience Coordinator (Bilingual)
Reports to: Branch Manager
Status: Regular Full-time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Pay Rate: Hourly (non-exempt) $18-$20/hr
Job Summary:
With reasonable accommodation if required, the fully bilingual (Spanish) incumbent greets candidates as they come in the High Point, NC office, makes them feel welcome, and works to make the application process enjoyable and stress-free. In addition, assists them with logging in and applying for work electronically and introduces them to their Recruiter. Also welcomes and assists clients and visitors. Supports recruiting and sales functions online, by phone or in-person.
Duties:
- Answer and transfer phones with high call volume from applicants, employees, and customers. Listening to their needs and/or issues and providing helpful solutions to their problems
- Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the electronic application, onboarding, and compliance processes using our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Assist candidates with User ID’s, passwords and troubleshooting the log-in process (in-person and via telephone/text)
- Provide back-up coverage for Recruiters including lunch breaks and PTO.
- Provide a safe, welcoming, low-stress and enjoyable experience for applicants and employees.
- Make sure onboarding “integration” functions, including benefits enrollment (ACA compliance) and WOTC (Work Opportunity Tax Credit) are administered properly for all candidates.
- Conduct drug screens in a professional manner, addressing privacy concerns to the greatest extent possible.
- Promote referral program with candidates, ask for (positive) Google reviews and encourage them to follow GPS on Facebook/LinkedIn
- When necessary, assist with running background checks and assigning lab-based drug screens.
- Project a positive and professional image of GPS
- Perform other tasks as directed by Branch Manager, Operations Manager, or senior management.
Skills/Requirements:
- Fully bilingual (fluent in English/Spanish)
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Friendly, people-oriented, outgoing demeanor while maintaining professionalism.
- Easily adopts new technology and processes and integrates it into daily work.
- Thrives on a fast-paced, interactive environment.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn applicant tracking system (Avionte’) and other enterprise software.
- Able to maintain absolute confidentiality.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, keyboard and to reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to sit, talk, and hear and occasionally to stand and walk.
