Travel Required: This position requires occasional travel, including overnight travel, based on business needs.

We are seeking a Candidate Experience Coordinator who will play a crucial role in welcoming global nurses and students to the area. This position combines remote work flexibility with hands-on support during the arrival onboarding processes, as well as continued local support for our program participants.

Key Responsibilities:

\n
  • \n
  • Meet students and medical professionals arriving at local airports or other transportation hubs and assist them with transportation to their accommodations.
  • \n
  • Support new arrivals with settling into the local area, including providing transportation, obtaining a Social Security Number (SSN), setting up US cell phone and bank accounts, completing fingerprinting requirements, obtaining a state ID, and other essential onboarding tasks.
  • \n
  • Ensure participants attend all scheduled meetings with the school or hospital on time. This will include driving participants to appointments or coordinating transportation arrangements.
  • \n
  • Provide ongoing guidance and support related to housing, obtaining a driver’s license, childcare resources, and other life essentials.
  • \n
  • Offer local guidance and cultural orientation by answering questions about the area, community resources, and life in the United States.
  • \n
  • Maintain flexibility and availability outside standard business hours to support participant arrivals and urgent needs when necessary.
  • \n
  • Follow a pre-arranged itinerary and checklist to ensure all required onboarding tasks and meetings are completed.
  • \n
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with local hospital partners, as well as the medical professionals and students.
  • \n
  • Schedule regular check-ins with participants to monitor progress, celebrate successes, and address any challenges or concerns.
  • \n
  • Create and distribute a monthly newsletter with local events, general updates, and answers to frequently asked questions.

Qualifications:

  • \n
  • Reside in Cleveland, Ohio.
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of the local area, community resources, and transportation options.
  • \n
  • Comfortable working with international students and healthcare professionals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • \n
  • Confidence in working independently, problem solving, and handling last-minute changes and emergencies.
  • \n
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
  • \n
  • Understanding professional boundaries and discretion while handling sensitive personal information.
  • \n
  • Available for overnight travel, as needed.
  • \n
  • Reliable, empathetic, and proactive in supporting participants through their transition and onboarding experience.
  • \n
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with close attention to detail.
  • \n
  • Prior experience is not required.
  • \n
  • Experience in customer service, education, healthcare, or community support is a plus.
  • \n
  • Must possess a valid US driver’s license and have reliable personal transportation.
  • \n
