Cultivation Operations Technician
Growth Opportunity | Weekend Operations | Leadership Track
About Us
We are a premier cannabis producer in Oregon dedicated to producing exceptional cannabis through disciplined cultivation practices, continuous improvement, and a team-first culture.
We're looking for someone who wants more than just a job. We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and becoming an important part of a high-performing cultivation team.
This position begins by working alongside our cultivation leadership team. As you demonstrate reliability, sound judgment, and consistency, you'll have the opportunity to transition into one of our most trusted roles supporting weekend cultivation operations.
Location: Portland, OR
Training Schedule: Monday–Friday
Target Schedule: Thursday–Monday (after successful training and demonstrated proficiency)
Reports To: Director of Cultivation
About the Role
This is a hands-on cultivation position focused on supporting our vegetative department while developing the skills and judgment necessary to independently oversee weekend operations.
You'll work closely with experienced team members to learn our cultivation systems, standard operating procedures, and expectations. As your knowledge and reliability grow, you'll take on increasing responsibility helping ensure our cultivation facility continues operating smoothly throughout the weekend.
We're looking for someone who naturally notices problems before they become emergencies, enjoys figuring things out, communicates clearly, and takes pride in doing things the right way.
What You'll Do
Cultivation Operations
- Support daily plant care throughout the vegetative department.
- Assist with clone production, transplanting, watering, pruning, and plant movement.
- Maintain clean, organized, and efficient workspaces.
- Follow SOPs with consistency and attention to detail.
- Monitor plant health and identify potential issues early.
- Help maintain irrigation, environmental, and cultivation standards.
Facility & Operations Support
- Perform routine operational checks throughout the cultivation facility.
- Help identify equipment or environmental issues before they become larger problems.
- Troubleshoot basic operational issues within your training.
- Communicate observations and concerns clearly to leadership.
- Support smooth weekend operations through consistency, preparation, and ownership.
Continuous Improvement
- Look for opportunities to improve organization and efficiency.
- Learn new skills and accept increasing responsibility.
- Take ownership of assigned projects from start to finish.
- Help maintain a professional, positive culture throughout the cultivation team.
What Success Looks Like
The people who excel in this role are:
- Dependable and consistently on time.
- Calm under pressure.
- Comfortable working independently after training.
- Curious and mechanically inclined.
- Detail-oriented.
- Excellent communicators.
- Accountable for their work.
- Able to prioritize tasks without constant supervision.
- Trusted to make good decisions.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in earning responsibility—not someone who simply completes a checklist.
Qualifications
Preferred Experience
- Cannabis cultivation, greenhouse, nursery, agriculture, or horticulture experience.
- Mechanical aptitude, maintenance, handyman, farming, irrigation, or equipment experience.

Required

- Excellent reliability and attendance.
- Positive attitude.
- Ability to communicate professionally.
