Come join our growing team of professionals and advance within a company that is staged to become one of the largest and most successful cannabis businesses in Massachusetts.Department: Kitchen Position: AM Assistant Wage: $17/hour Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Responsibilities: Post-cooking prep, counting, and packaging of infused cannabis products (including but not limited to fruit chews, chocolate & confections, and/or baked goods) Support kitchen cooks in daily operations, as needed Ensure final product meets department and company standards via quality control measures Operate machines and equipment, including but not limited to mixers, ovens, and packaging machines, according to SOPs Work as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines Maintain an organized work area and ensure the cleanliness of workstations and equipment per company and regulatory standards Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks and maintain corresponding cleaning logs Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) food product rotation guidelines Adhere to all city and state food handling and cannabis regulations Ensure all infused products in all areas within the department are appropriately labeled at all times and immediately elevate diversions Required QualificationsSkills Must demonstrate: Organizational skills Attention to detail Commitment to quality Strong spatial awareness, with attentiveness to auditory cues, such as equipment beeps or alarms, to ensure fluid operations and safety compliance Ability to: Follow detailed instructions and SOPs Multi-Task Ensure continually accurate counts and/or measurements Adapt to changes Receive and utilize constructive feedback Physical Ability to: Engage in repetitive movement, including but not limited to hand motions Utilize hand tools Lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively Read fine print, including but not limited to SOPs/manuals Use stairs/ladders/lifts comfortably at heights up to 20 ft Sustain extended periods of standing or sitting Work indoors under fluctuating temperatures (hot/cold) Operate in areas with continual noise and moving equipment, including but not limited to machines, lifts, racks Work in close proximity to others Utilize PPE (personal protective equipment) when required Work without auditory obstructions, including but not limited to headphonesPreferred Qualifications Experience Food service/preparation Kitchen and/or manufacturing equipment Skills/Certifications Computer Basics ServSafe Certification Hazards/Allergens:Please note this position operates in a department that directly processes foods that may contain common allergens, including but not limited to peanuts, tree nuts, seeds, dairy, gluten, and other potential allergens.
