DescriptionFerguson Roofing & Exteriors is hiring motivated individuals for our new Canvassing Associate – Roofing & Exteriors role to help generate new business by speaking with homeowners in assigned neighborhoods. This role focuses on setting qualified roofing inspections, not selling at the door. This is a paid position with performance incentives and a potential path into a Project Manager (sales) role for top performers.
No roofing experience required and we will provide paid training.
What You’ll Do
- Canvass assigned neighborhoods to speak with homeowners
- Educate homeowners on roofing, storm damage, and free inspections
- Set qualified appointments for roofing inspections (no selling required at the door)
- Accurately log homeowner information and appointments using SalesRabbit
- Represent Ferguson Roofing & Exteriors professionally and ethically
- Work closely with sales and production teams to support successful projects
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with door-to-door outreach
- Positive attitude and resilience (you won’t win every door)
- Reliable transportation and smartphone
- Ability to work afternoons/evenings and occasional weekends
- Sales, canvassing, or customer-facing experience is a plus — but not required
