Be the bridge between customer goals and engineered reality
Do you thrive at the intersection of precision engineering and commercial strategy? At EMAG LLC—part of the global EMAG Group—you’ll craft manufacturing solutions that win business and deliver results. Along the way, you’ll benefit from intentional career development and a competitive benefits package featuring a strong 401(k) match and a $0 employee premium for medical, dental, and vision plans.
Your mission
Partner with our Technical Sales Manager to translate complex requirements into feasible, cost-effective proposals. You will analyze customer inputs, architect system concepts, validate feasibility, and deliver quotations that are both technically precise and commercially competitive.
Challenges you’ll tackle
Solution architecture: Deconstruct RFQs and engineering specs; design conceptual process flows and system layouts; choose the right mix of turning, grinding, gear hobbing/grinding, ECM/PECM, laser processing, robotics, and automation.
Risk and feasibility: Surface constraints and optimization opportunities; align solutions with customer requirements, engineering standards, and internal business goals.
Quoting excellence: Build complete technical sales quotations with cost sheets and pricing inputs; confirm supplier feasibility, cost details, and lead times; keep proposals accurate, competitive, and margin-aware.
Cross-functional horsepower: Drive reviews with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to clarify scope, validate costs, and mitigate risk; produce proposal documents and customer-ready materials.
Technical stewardship: Interpret prints and tolerances to pinpoint critical features; keep a pulse on emerging technologies and competitive moves; enhance tools, processes, and documentation across Technical Sales.
Customer trust: Support on-site and remote presentations and technical discussions; travel domestically and internationally as required.
